Health Care Professionals of Metro DC founded by Trinbagonian, Dr.Carol Jagdeo, MD is a multicultural community based solution driven group of healthcare professionals that seeks to address gaps and disparities in health care to our most vulnerable populations, the indigent, the elderly and the uninsured. HCP Metro DC’s key focus areas are cultural competencies, access to quality healthcare for ethnic communities, educating and empowering communities and health screenings to identify people at medical risks.
HCP Metro DC Founder, Dr. Carol Jagdeo says, “I believe the most transformative way to fill the health gaps of today is to work at the grassroots level to motivate, educate and empower all peoples to take charge of their health and make small changes that can leave major impact. We do this work because we care. I truly believe in Mahatma Gandhi’s saying, ‘Be the change that you want to see in the world’. I hope HCP Metro DC empowers people to live their best healthy lives.”
