YOWronto is a music extravaganza, in its first annual season, launching this year to coincide with the celebration of Canada’s 150th year of Confederation.
This festival will boast a variety of activities as a tribute to Canada’s diversity, to be held at Woodbine Mall on Saturday July 1, and Sunday July 2, 2017.
The YOWronto music festival will have performances from various music genres including Reggae, Gospel, R&B, and Soca. Other performances will include Spoken Word, drumming and dancing. The festival is perfect for the entire family, music lovers, other artists, or the person who just wants to experience something unforgettable.
Other renowned international artists included to perform are: Baby Cham, Romain Virgo, Lieutenant Stitchie, and Eric Donaldson. Local performers such as Kim Davis, Jay Harmony, Michie Mee, and many more will be included to complete the event and its purpose.
On March 10, you are invited to the ‘Women of YOWronto ‘ – a FREE evening of performances dedicated to showcase Canadian women who will be performing at the first annual YOWronto Music Festival. This empowering evening will be a lead up event to ‘YOWronto’, which will happen July 1 & 2, outdoors of Woodbine Centre.
‘Women of YOWronto’ includes motivational speakers, live music performances and a turntablist, all lead by local women who believe in the betterment and celebration of womanhood.
Join us March 10 as an opportunity to meet and network with the ladies! Everything gets underway at 7 pm, until 10 pm, at Belleeny’s Restaurant, 4000 Steeles Ave. West. Complimentary appetizers will be served during the time frame, courtesy of YOWronto and Belleeny’s Restaurant.
